Refund policy

At Omppis (Vireo Beverages OÜ), we take pride in the quality of our beverages. Due to the nature of our products as food and beverage items, specific rules apply to returns and refunds to ensure health and safety standards.

1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cancellation Period)

Under EU consumer law, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. However, this right is subject to strict conditions for our products:

  • Sealed Goods & Hygiene: According to Art. 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if they become unsealed after delivery.

  • Condition for Return: For beverages, we only accept returns if the products are unopened, the original seal is intact, and the packaging (bottles/cans) is in resalable condition. If a bottle or can has been opened, the right of withdrawal is void.

2. How to Initiate a Return

If your products are still sealed and you wish to return them:

  1. Contact us at rafael@omppis.com within 14 days of delivery.

  2. Provide your order number and the reason for the return.

  3. Once authorized, you must ship the goods back to us within 14 days.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: Unless the product was sent in error or arrived damaged, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Recommendation: We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we cannot issue refunds for items lost during return transit.

4. Refunds

  • Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

     

  • Processing: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., Stripe, Revolut) within a certain amount of days.

     

  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We pack our PET bottles and cans securely, but if an issue occurs:

  • Immediate Reporting: Any damage (e.g., leaking bottles) or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Evidence: Please send photos of the damaged goods and the shipping box to rafael@omppis.com.

  • Resolution: Our preferred remedy for defective or incorrect items is a replacement shipment. Refunds for damaged items will only be issued if a replacement is not possible.

6. Unclaimed or Refused Deliveries

If a package is returned to us because it was not collected from a pickup point (parcel locker) or delivery was refused:

  • We reserve the right to deduct the original shipping costs and the carrier's return service fee from your refund.
