A love for both countries

In 2023, during a language stay in Toronto, Canada, Rafael met his Finnish partner. From then on, he regularly spent time in Finland and got to know the Finnish culture. Even though he is still learning the language, it quickly became clear that Finns and Swiss people are not so different in their ways.

Leaving one's homeland is never an easy step. For the founder, the drink is an opportunity to bring something traditional from home and share it with the people in Finland.

A drink that brings joy to people in Switzerland can also bring joy to people in Finland.

From master's thesis to business

During the founder's semester abroad at Laurea AMK in Espoo, he was also writing his master's thesis, focusing on the Finnish soft drink market with a comparison to the Swiss market.

The results of the work laid the foundation for the decision to establish the company and helped with important questions. As part of the thesis, a sampling event was also held at the Helsinki Central Station.

The origins of our drink

The history of our beverage dates back to the 12th century, when it was originally invented in Germany. From there, it developed into a cultural beverage.

It is a refreshing apple-based alcohol free beverage inspired by a classic Swiss tradition. Made from apples and lighly blended with sparkling water, it offers a naturally balanced taste. Not too sweet, not too heavy.

In Switzerland, apple drinks like this are commonly enjoyed at meals, on hikes, or as simple refreshments for young and old. This product brings that familiar concept beyond its origins and is now available in Finland, sharing a small part of Swiss beverage culture with a new audience.

Rafael Elia / Founder

Born and raised in the Basel Area, Switzerland, to Spanish and Italian origins. He holds a Master’s degree from the Bern University of Applied Sciences, specializing in corporate development and entrepreneurship.

As a Swiss national Rafael of course also has past work experience in the private banking industry.
